My Color Story

I'm a Gainesville-based artist working out of my home studio, where each painting begins with curiosity, intuition, and a willingness to see where the process leads. Much of my work is rooted in the things I’m naturally drawn to—music, water, sunsets, texture, and the beauty of the spaces around me.

As a native Floridian, I feel a deep connection not only to the land but especially to the water. I find myself returning to it again and again in my paintings, along with sunsets and the beautiful, ever-changing pattern of light they bring. Gold accents often find their way into my work as a reflection of light, strength, and hope.

Although creativity has always been part of who I am, it wasn't until recently that I gave myself permission to fully embrace life as an artist. That decision changed everything.

Painting has become a way of slowing down, noticing beauty in unexpected places, and translating memories, emotions, and everyday moments into something beautiful and intriguing.

My work is inspired by the rhythms of nature, the energy of music, and the patterns found in architecture. Rather than telling a single story, I hope each painting creates space for your own—whether it brings a sense of peace, reminds you of a cherished memory, or simply makes you smile every time you pass by.

I believe everyone should have the pleasure of owning original artwork, not just admiring it from afar. Each of my paintings is created with the hope that it will become part of someone's everyday life, adding warmth, color, and joy to the spaces where life unfolds.
